ELG Estate Planning is a 15-person team comprised of talented legal professionals. Through hard work, word of mouth, and thousands of satisfied clients, we have grown our firm over the past 15 years from a one-person firm to the largest law firm in Eastern Washington that is dedicated exclusively to Estate Planning and Elder Law.

With offices in Spokane, Kennewick, and Seattle, we are frequently looking for Full Time, Part Time and Contract team members to join our growing team to assist in serving our clients’ needs. Open Positons:

Full Time Paralegal – Spokane

Position:

We are looking to hire one full-time paralegal to work in our Spokane office, and one  full-time or part-time paralegal for our Seattle office. The salary range is $40k – $60k,  plus benefits for our full-time employees. 

Our ideal candidate is a smart, driven, self-reliant person who efficiently creates flawless Estate Planning documents and assists the Team in helping our clients through  the Estate Planning journey—including probates—all with care, compassion and a  smile. Is this you? 

Qualifications: 

  • Two years of experience in Estate Planning and probates. (If you are an experienced litigation paralegal and want to live a less stressful life, feel free to apply.) 
  • Knowledge of up-to-date tools, including Microsoft Office and HotDocs. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work ethic that empowers you to meet deadlines—no excuses, you get the work done!
  • Pride in your quality of work, including good proof-reading skills. Typos, misspellings and wrong names are not acceptable.
  • Curious, growth-minded and a problem solver
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude and an ability to pivot and change course on a dime.
  • Someone who will go the extra mile

Contract Attorney - Seattle

Position:

ELG Estate Planning is looking for a talented, hardworking, and motivated Estate Planning and Elder Law attorney to provide contract legal services for our Seattle office.

The contract attorney will be an integral part of the new Seattle office. Duties include:

  • Conducting the Legal Strategy Meeting in the Seattle office with the firm’s clients living in the Puget Sound to prepare the individualized Estate Plan 
  • Working remotely with the ELG team to prepare all legal documents
  • Attending requested in-person client meetings and conducting the Estate Planning signings in the Seattle office
  • Responding to client questions and providing guidance

Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in Estate Planning, Trusts & Estates, and Probate & Trust Administration. Elder Law and Medicaid expertise not required. Business and Real Estate experience not required, but a plus.

Additionally, the contract attorney will:

  • Fit with the firm culture of the pursuit of excellence and dedication to growth
  • Embrace and exhibit compassion and responsiveness to clients’ needs – we serve people, not corporations
  • Enhance our positive and supportive work environment
  • Align with the strong esprit de corps with the other members of the team

Work is contracted on as “as needed” basis and will vary depending on client volume.

Position:

We are expanding our services to include Business and Real Estate to better serve our clients. 

Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in Business and Real Estate. Washington license required. Idaho license a plus.

Additionally, the contract attorney will:

  • Embrace and exhibit compassion and responsiveness to clients’ needs – we serve people, not corporations
