This role offers the opportunity to become the primary paralegal supporting our Tri-Cities office. You’ll support a variety of cases, including Estate Planning, Probate and Medicaid Asset Preservation cases. Key Responsibilities
As a Paralegal at ELG Estate Planning, you will:
- Support Estate Planning and Probate matters, including document preparation and case administration
- Serve as the primary paralegal for Medicaid Planning matters, including preparation and management of Medicaid applications and supporting documentation, as well as communication with state agencies regarding pending applications and open matters
- Assist attorneys with complex asset preservation strategies and Medicaid compliance
- Communicate with clients, families, and agencies with professionalism, clarity, and compassion
- Maintain highly organized files and track deadlines across multiple matter types
You will receive training and mentorship in this niche practice area and become a key contributor to a team that values precision, empathy, and excellence.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal
- Estate Planning, Elder Law, Medicaid, or Probate is a plus but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proofreading skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organized and comfortable managing complex, detail-heavy matters
- Curious, growth-minded, and motivated to master a specialized area of law
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word
- Tech-savvy and adaptable, with the willingness to learn new software and systems.

CLIENT INTAKE SPECIALIST

What You’ll Be Doing
As our Client Intake Specialist, you’re not just answering phones, you’re opening doors for families who need guidance. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, and your warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness will shape how they experience ELG from the very first moment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and inquiries, warmly engaging prospective clients and determining whether our services are the right fit for their needs
- Schedule Initial Consultations for qualified prospects and ensure a smooth, seamless handoff to our attorney team
- Conduct conflict checks for each prospective client
- Follow up on sales leads generated through our marketing activities, maintaining consistent and thoughtful outreach
- Manage and track all prospect interactions using our CRM system (HubSpot)
- Provide an exceptional, memorable experience for every person who contacts our firm.
This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Spokane, WA office. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years of customer service or sales experience, including prospecting, qualifying, and follow-through
- A natural ability to connect with people over the phone and via email
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
